The NIPFN Kenya held a high-level meeting to discuss the progress of NIPN I and II on 2nd September 2023. The meeting was attended by KIPPRA Executive Director Dr Rose Ngugi, KNBS Director General, Mr. Macdonald Obudho, UNICEF Kenya’s Chief of Nutrition, Dr Ismael Teta, Head of Agriculture and Rural Development, Delegation of EU to Kenya, Mr Titus Katembu and the project team.
The NIPFN Kenya Project Manager, Mr James Gatungu took the team through the progress made with NIPN I and NIPN II.
Speaking at the workshop KNBS Director General, Mr Macdonald Obudho noted that the team has achieved a lot under NIPN I and urged them to fast-track the implementation of activities under NIPN II. KIPPRA Executive Director Dr Rose Ngugi on her part commended the team for the progress made and urged UNICEF Kenya to closely work with the project team to actualize the activities under NIPN II.
