The NIPFN Kenya held a capacity-building workshop for government officers from 27th November to 5th December 2023 in Nakuru County. The main objective of the workshop was to capacity-build the staff from the implementing institutions and the participating institutions with interest in nutrition and food security on the application of STATA software and applied policy research methods.
The workshop targeted stakeholders from KNBS, KIPPRA, The National Treasury and Economic Planning; Ministry of Health (MoH); Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development (MoALD); Ministry of Education (MoE); Ministry of Labour and Social Protection (MLSP); Ministry of Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation (MoWSI); Ministry of Investment and Trade and Industry (MITI). A total of 17 Officers were trained at the workshop.
